Senior Accountant

Job Description

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in driving accuracy and efficiency across our accounting operations. In this role, you’ll own critical areas of general ledger and accounts payable, lead the month-end close, and contribute to financial insights that shape business decisions. • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Handle the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of GL and Accounts Payable
• Review accounting transactions, GL accounts, and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
• Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders about financial matters

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
• Excellent Excel proficiency
• Proficiency in accounting software (ie. SAP, Net Suite, Dynamics AX, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80 - $90k. Actual compensation will be determined by the hiring authority and may vary depending on qualifications and other factors relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
