Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp to Hire)

Pay: $27–$28 per hour

Schedule: Fully onsite

Location: Anaheim, CA

Base Pay Range: $27.00/hr – $28.00/hr

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp‑to‑hire opportunity with a stable company in Anaheim. This role owns the full AP function and works independently.

• Manage full‑cycle accounts payable as the sole AP team member
• Audit vendor invoices and perform three‑way matching
• Prepare and match supporting documentation
• Apply use tax to invoices when needed
• Handle all vendor questions and follow‑ups
• Prepare and print weekly check runs
• Review and process expense reports (Expense Wire)
• Set up wire transfers through the bank portal
• Prepare GL account reconciliations and adjusting entries as requested
• Collect W‑9s, prepare, and file year‑end 1099s
• Obtain vendor liability insurance when required
• Assist with month‑end close activities

• Strong accounts payable experience with three‑way match
• Solid Excel skills required; VLOOKUPs and pivot tables preferred
• Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
