Stella Legal is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management and financial controls across our international business.
The OpportunityReporting to the COO and Fractional CFO, you will own day-to-day accounting and provide leadership with clear visibility into revenue, profitability, working capital and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close
- Prepare management accounts and consolidated reporting
- Maintain cash flow forecasting and working capital oversight
- Oversee billing, collections, AP and payroll coordination
- Strengthen controls, compliance and audit readiness
- Manage intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Improve finance systems and reporting processes
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Financial Controller, Accounting Manager or similar experience
- Multi-entity accounting knowledge
- Strong reporting and reconciliation expertise
- Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience
- CPA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- US and UK accounting exposure
- Professional services, consulting or legal services background
- Quick Books and SurePoint Coyote experience
- Help build a scalable finance function that supports Stella's next stage of growth.
