YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY

The Assistant Project Manager is an entry‑level role focused on learning project management in technology support. The APM provides administrative and construction support to the Project Management team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
  • Oversee project activities, coordinate, resolve issues, and maintain company policies and standards.
  • Maintain change orders, submittal and document (drawing) control logs; prepare required logs for meetings.
  • Prepare accurate and timely contract submittals.
  • Create and issue subcontractor contracts.
  • Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals on time.
  • Ensure project quality control plan is followed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for correct documentation and drawings for manuals.
  • Keep Warranty Log up to date.
  • Attend company and project meetings with clients and subcontractors; provide project support.
  • Assist and technically support field personnel assigned to the area.
  • Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress.
  • Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
  • Prepare price change orders, project reports and documentation.
  • Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods.
  • Professional demeanor and effective interaction with managers, employees, vendors, and others.
  • Strong organizational, record‑keeping and follow‑up skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
  • Meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office;
    Oracle preferred.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive and effective team player.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction‑related role.
  • Equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant work experience.
TRAVEL

Up to 25%.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • General work environment: primarily active construction sites; sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending; primarily indoors with fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Noise level is typically low to medium.
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
