Job Description
Fullerton College is accepting applications for part-time Instructors for Spring 2026 and ongoing.
Courses: Teach ANAT 231 F Human Anatomy.
Schedule: Course meets twice a week, in-person. Morning, afternoon, and evening sections are possible.
Special Instructions SummaryThis recruitment will remain active for a period of one year, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a need to fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified.
This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis. When the need to fill arises, the department will refer to this pool of part-time faculty.

Essential FunctionsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Examples of essential functions are interpreted as descriptive and not restrictive in nature.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s in any biological science
- OR Bachelor’s in any biological science AND Master’s in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science
- OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area
- OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee
- Commitment to diversity. All applicants must have demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds and must show how these factors relate to equity-minded practices within the classroom
- Experience teaching in-person laboratories
- Knowledge of anatomical and histological specimens and models
- Ability to direct student dissections
- Experience with curriculum development, program self-assessment, SLO assessment, etc.
- Experience using multi-modal approaches and student-centered pedagogy to meet needs of first generation, immigrant, and low-income students
