Accounting and Finance Manager

Overview

We are searching for an Accounting Manager with experience in Architectural, Engineering or Construction industries, to lead the accounting team and provide financial performance reviews for management.

• Ensure financial statements are accurate and adhere to relevant accounting standards and regulations. Produce monthly financial reports for presentation to principals in a timely manner.
• Develop and monitor budgets, promoting fiscal discipline within the organization.
• Oversee internal and external audits of financial activities to confirm accuracy and compliance.
• Create and implement financial policies and procedures for sound financial operations, mitigating risks, and enhancing the accuracy of the company s reported financial results.
• Oversee the organization s cash flow to ensure it can meet financial obligations and achieve goals.
• Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report.
• Provide and present monthly business review including KPI reporting, financial performance, budget performance, etc.

• Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Must have proficiency in Deltek Vision or Vantage.
• Background in consulting, such as engineering, environmental, or architectural firms.
• Understanding of GAAP and corporate guidelines as they apply to accounting transactions.
• Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and reporting standards including budget preparation and cash flow management.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
