KHS&S is seeking an experienced Union Payroll Professional to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and knowledgeable in payroll processes—especially those involving union environments. If you are passionate about supporting employes and compliance, we’d love to hear from you.

The primary duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Process weekly payroll for union and non-union personnel including reviewing and entering employee timecards
  • Ensure payroll is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Assist with onboarding and data entry of new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date I-9 and W-4 documentation
  • Work directly with union representatives and apply union rules, CBAs, and pay structures
  • Assist with payroll tax reporting and compliance
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to support payroll operations

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience; union and multi state payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with certified payroll is a plus
  • Familiarity with I-9, W-4, and other onboarding compliance requirements
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
