Junior Network Engineer

A confidential technology and infrastructure leader is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support mission‑critical network and security operations. This is a high‑visibility position within a secure data environment, providing hands‑on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and SCADA Telemetry systems.

• Provide daily operational support of enterprise firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and proactive monitoring.
• Manage firewall rules, access policies, and security protocols to maintain network compliance and Data Clear standards.
• Assist senior engineers with firewall changes and upgrades in a 24/7 mission‑critical environment.

• Collaborate with network and systems engineers on the maintenance of switches, routers, and critical network components.
• Support SCADA Telemetry systems to ensure high availability and secure communications.
• Respond to and resolve incident management tasks quickly and accurately, using tools such as Service Now.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, rule changes, and incident resolutions.
• Participate in team reviews and contribute to network security process improvements.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Background in network engineering or systems engineering, with exposure to enterprise switches and routers.
• Data Clear Certification (or equivalent security/compliance credential) required.
• Familiarity with firewall management, network security best practices, and incident response protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
