The Supply Chain Specialist will be involved in handling the flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring that a business can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory, and transport shipments. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible in negotiating business relationships and communicating with suppliers and distributors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
  • Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers
  • Participate in product development
  • Coordinate changes, product line extensions, or new product launches
  • Analyze logistics data to refine the supply chain
  • Communicate with suppliers and distributors
  • Protect brand image and reliability
  • Foster growth-friendly supply chain practices
  • Manage purchase orders and tracking shipping schedules
  • Collaborates with Receiving Department to identify order discrepancies and perform material receipt notification to our field as required
  • Updating order records
  • Inventory Management for the office supplies and services
  • Working with the purchasing manager to complete necessary special projects/tasks
  • Coordinate with service companies and personnel in regards to facility maintenance

    REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, STEM Major or related fields
  • Familiarity of fluency with a 2nd language, preferably Mandarin
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, category management and/or vendor management
  • Preferred experience in a similar position for a manufacturing facility
  • Working knowledge in Excel, Microsoft Office and general computer operations and concepts
  • Advance mathematical, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment and be motivated to work as an individual
  • Must be open to quick direct communication.
  • Can work under pressure and keep high work quality
  • Has strong responsibility, and initiative
  • Detail oriented and reliable
