The Opportunity
The production Assembler is responsible for packaging 100% quality packaging components into shipping cartons, PICs (Personal Individual Cartons) or displays as required by the customer and Meri Cal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMPs.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize working knowledge of all packaging equipment and possess the capability to learn how to make.
- Ability to keep up with the lines packing quality products while the machine is running with minimal down time.
- Ability to make enough PICs and shippers on the line to maximize production.
- Good hand-eye coordination to be able to hot glue PICs.
- Ability to efficiently make shippers, PICs or other assembles necessary to support Production.
- Ability to assist the other employees on the line to maximize production as assigned by the supervisor.
- Flexibility to work on other lines or special projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Awareness of workstation to avoid any potential trip or fall hazards.
- Assist in production wherever needed and assigned by the supervisor.
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read and write English to ensure the correct product is packed per the specifications and to ensure directions are carried out
- Possess basic mathematics skills (+, -, x, ÷).
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs. and be able to stand for the entire (8-12) hour shift.
- Familiarity with Production environment or Packaging experience is a plus.
