CNC Machinist Lead

Experience: Minimum 5 years in CNC Machining, Must be able to run MasterCAM
Expected Hours: 40 per week

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills and lathes to execute precision machining processes. C onversational programming required.
• Work with precision by interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
• Optimize performance by monitoring and adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
• Inspect with precision using micrometers, calipers, and other standard measuring tools to ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards.
• Maintain peak machine efficiency by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate and innovate with the production team to streamline machining processes and maximize productivity.
• Dual Role :
  The working lead is both a frontline worker and a supervisor, bridging the gap between management and the shop floor.
• Leadership Skills :
  Strong ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and sheet metal fabrication.
• Must be able to run Master
  
  CAM.
• Strong proficiency in setting up and operating 3-axis CNC mills & lathes, must be able to do 4 or 5-axis.
• Experience with running and programming Hurco machines at the machine level.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision and quality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
• Ability to critically think and problem solve
