CNC Machinist; 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist (Second Shift)

Join the Verus Aerospace team. We seek dedicated team members with skills in CNC machining, a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

• Operate CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily of aluminum and titanium.
• Take accurate measurements using gauges, calipers, indicators, and micrometers to ensure proper setup.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory, keeping accurate record logs.
• Observe and maintain specifications by monitoring drilling and cutting, troubleshooting processes, adjusting controls, replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures.
• Set up and troubleshoot 5‑axis machines for large complex parts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited technical college is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible milling experience; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
• Basic math and geometry knowledge; elementary understanding of engineering principals.
• Ability to read blueprints, follow work orders and verbal instructions.
• Recent experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.

California pay range: $24–$28 USD per hour. Additional compensation can include bonuses, long‑term incentive, and full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
