Production Supervisor

We are partnering with a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer to hire a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, maintain production schedules, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

This role manages a single shift of hourly employees and plays a hands‑on role in meeting daily production, yield, and safety targets.

• Lead daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals
• Supervise and develop hourly manufacturing employees
• Enforce safety, FOD, and quality standards (AS9100 environment)
• Coordinate closely with Production Planning on schedule changes and priorities
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and material flow issues
• Track and report departmental KPIs and improvement initiatives
• Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction efforts
• Conduct training, audits, and team meetings

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and quality‑driven production
• Strong communication skills with both hourly and salaried teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic production reporting
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• DoD clearance preferred
