Production Assembly & Shipping Associate

The Production Assembly & Shipping Associate works to strict safety and quality requirements, assembling a range of raw material frame components and setting up/operating various production machines while shipping orders using Fed Ex and UPS platforms in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role is multidimensional and performs many operations within the production process and shipping with minimal supervision.

• Work across multiple areas of production both in assembly and as a machine operator, including setting up machinery and basic programming.
• Build frame assemblies using various raw material mouldings.
• Operate production machines such as mat cutters, wood cutters, foil stamps, and printing equipment.
• Operate line equipment such as joining machines, glue guns, and staple guns.
• Cut and shape production assembly parts; operate computer and run machine programs.
• Perform quality control checks on work to ensure goods meet internal and customer standards.
• Perform work‑cell inventory checks and report shortages or issues.
• Kit and stage frame assemblies for final line assembly.
• Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of the work area.
• Record daily production totals.

• Prepare outgoing shipments, organize the shipping staging area for easy retrieval as new orders are processed.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required if the person has the aptitude to learn quickly.
• Previous shipping experience with Fed Ex and UPS platforms preferred but not required if the person has the aptitude to learn quickly.

• One (1) year of related work experience preferred but not required if the person has the aptitude to learn quickly.
• Previous experience using hand tools and shipping software is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with good manual and eye dexterity.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, desirable.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend written and verbal instructions and a proficient reading level to understand technical instructions used within the production department.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and assignments and meet expected time completion.
• Ability to remain achievement‑focused, engaged, proactive, and positive even in challenging circumstances, own assignments and be fully accountable for their success.
• Ability to be self‑motivated and work independently but proactive to resolve work issues and notify supervisors of needed support or resources.
• Ability to coordinate with other co‑workers as part of a team.

• Experience working in a production and manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Estimated shift times: 1st shift 7 AM–3:30 PM.
• Available for overtime and weekends as needed.
• Able to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to stand for extended periods—8 hours minimum.
