We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Inventory Control
Clerk to join the POWDER DIVISION at our ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Schedule: 5am - 1:30pm. Must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control associate monitors inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES- Prepares reports to replenish picking inventory
- Coordinates transfers and sample/stability product requests
- Performs and enters counts into inventory system
- Researches and assists with discrepancies in inventory
- Identify and report issues/errors
- Assist in the implementation of procedures to prevent errors
- Collects and prepares pull down requests for packers
- Logs cube and weight for new items
- Positions forklifts, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device. Must be able to document information as per SOP
- Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or cGMP guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/
JOB DUTIES:
As necessary, performs other related functions of which the above are representative.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic math skills.
- Effective written communication skills, including legibility.
- Strong attention to detail.
Must be licensed to operate lift equipment (Licensing may be through internal or external training)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Prior manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIESREQUIRED
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written); preferably Bilingual in English and Spanish (or at least a working knowledge of Spanish); must be able to use a calculator proficiently to perform rapid and accurate computations; must be computer literate within an inventory control environment; must be team-oriented and willing to work collaboratively with management team; must be detailed oriented and accurate.
