Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to transport spices, ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods throughout the facility.
* Load and unload incoming deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments and inspecting goods for damage or contamination.
* Supply spice production lines with raw materials and remove finished product in a timely manner to support continuous workflow.
* Properly label, store, and organize pallets to ensure traceability and compliance with food safety protocols.
* Perform regular inventory counts and assist in cycle counts to maintain accurate records.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned forklift and work area in accordance with company and food safety standards.
* Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of allergens and maintaining allergen separation.
* Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or product quality issues to management immediately.
* Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification before starting).
* Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and food handling regulations (HACCP, GMPs, etc.) a plus.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Comfortable working in environments with strong spice odors or allergenic materials.
