CNC Machinist

Job Description

The CNC Machinist [either mill or lathe] plays a crucial role in manufacturing by setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines [lathe or mill] to produce precise parts according to specifications. This position involves working as part of a team on project-based assignments, ensuring quality and safety standards are met without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for one piece or production runs
• Operate CNC equipment to manufacture parts accurately
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure machine efficiency
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues promptly
• Adhere to safety regulations and workplace standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• You must be able to provide documentation proving that you are a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual) as required for access to ITAR-controlled projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
