AWT has the following position open in our Anaheim location:

The schedule for this position is Mon.

- Fri., Hours are - 1:30pm - 10:00pm. Additional days and hours may be necessary due to production requirements.

• Perform daily rewinding inspections as required to meet the company standards and individual job specifications.
• Monitor the rewinding process to maintain high-quality finished products.
• Understand machine capabilities to achieve optimum quality, throughput, and waste minimization.
• Perform Q.C. checks according to Quality checklist to ensure accuracy of job specifications.
• Ability to be aware of deadlines and evaluate orders to meet commitments.
• Responsible for proper handling of all supplies associated with the rewinding and packaging process.
• Adhere to existing work instructions/processes and contribute ideas and recommendations for continuous process improvement.
• Update job status in system database.
• Maintain a very organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Participate in a continuous learning environment and adjust to new objectives as necessary.
• Be able to work at times under high-pressure situations and deadlines.
• General housekeeping to include but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, trash disposal, cleaning of work surfaces and other applicable duties to keep the production area clean and organized

• Good troubleshooting skills
• Detail oriented
• Possess a cooperative team attitude, good listening skills, open-mindedness and receptiveness to feedback.
• Basic knowledge and/or experience maintaining equipment.
• Machine aptitude is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience in a label printing operation is a plus
• Basic understanding of Word, Excel, E-mail programs

• Lift up to 50 pounds without aid
• Move/handle up to 250 pounds with aid
• Exposed to intermittent noise levels approaching 100 decibels
• Use of harsh chemicals (isopropyl alcohol, petroleum-based imaging oil)
• Exposure to modest amount of ozone
• Exposed to flashing lights needed for inspection
