Job Description
The Supplier Quality Assurance Analyst supports the Supplier Quality team by coordinating documentation, managing quality system records, and maintaining supplier data accuracy within the Approved Supplier List and across QMS and ERP platforms. This role ensures efficient flow of supplier quality information, assists in supporting audit preparation and corrective action processes. This position is essential in ensuring supplier records meet aerospace regulatory, customer, and company standards such as ISO, AS9100, AS9120, NADCAP, and ITAR.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Document, Data & Compliance Control
- Maintain and update supplier quality records, including certifications (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO), risk assessments, audit results, and corrective actions.
- Enter and manage supplier quality data in the QMS, ERP/MRP, and supplier management platforms.
- Coordinate the maintenance (removal, conditional approval, blocking) of supplier status at all segment business units ensuring their compliance to the ASL.
- Ensure all supplier documentation is current, properly classified, and stored in accordance with internal record retention policies.
- Track and follow up on expiring supplier certifications and compliance requirements.
- Participate in the assessment and onboarding of new suppliers, including review of certifications, quality system maturity, and capabilities.
- Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding documentation submissions, compliance reminders, and status updates.
Supplier Performance & Risk Management
- Support updates to supplier status, approvals, corrective actions, and performance metrics.
- Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and KPIs (Audit status, audit findings, certification, etc.).
Supplier Quality Auditing
- Perform regular audits on the Approved Supplier List
- Support the preparation, scheduling, and documentation for supplier audits.
- Collect documentation requested by auditors and assist with follow‑up activities.
- Track closure of audit findings and maintain audit logs.
- Support on‑site and remote supplier audits following ISO, AS9100/AS9110/AS9120 or customer‑specific standards.
- Verification of NADCAP accreditation.
General Administrative Support
- Support document formatting, creation of quality forms, and updates to internal procedures.
- Assist in organizing supplier audits, visits, and Quality‑related events.
Required Qualifications
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Aerospace, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field or have completed their Master’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
