The Bakeshop supports the hotel’s banquet special events and the award-winning Napa Rose restaurant, which is set to unveil an exciting new menu and a revamped dining space in early 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a transformational journey!

Responsibilities- Prepare products according to established recipes.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, including temperature standards.
- Assess food quality and production to minimize spoilage.
- Assist in creating items for guests with dietary restrictions.
- Operate necessary kitchen tools and equipment efficiently.
- Follow HACCP procedures for kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
- Design and create specialty desserts and display pieces.
- Lead cake decoration projects for weddings and special events.
- Communicate with guests and event planners regarding custom cake designs.
- Serve as a food stylist for special events and menu presentations.
- Present and discuss pastry designs with banquet event clients.
- Showcase advanced technical skills in pastry and baking production.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A passion for Pastry and a dedication to providing memorable culinary experiences.
- Extensive experience in cake artistry and plated desserts within a restaurant setting.
- A minimum of 2 years in the culinary field or a culinary degree with relevant experience, particularly in high-volume settings.
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and terminology.
- Ability to follow and adapt recipes in a large-scale kitchen environment.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a busy kitchen.
- Effective listening skills and the ability to take and follow directions.
- Exceptional piping and decoration skills.
- A commitment to guest service and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience making mousse, pate-a-choux, and French macarons.
- Background in plating fine dining desserts.
- Expertise in detailed cake decoration and showpiece creation.
- Completion of a culinary education program or relevant leadership experience.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility with shifts that may start as early as 5:00 AM or end as late as 5:00 AM.
