• Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service.
• The position will assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, and assist in making a variety of different tortillas and masa for the department.
• The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to the preparation, handling and serving of food.
