Overview

Maintenance Mechanic (Outside Machinist - Non-Automotive) - Full Time at Disneyland Resort. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy, industrial machinery and working on Disneyland Resort attractions and ride vehicles.

• The Maintenance and Facilities division maintains, troubleshoots, overhauls, repairs, and alters systems and equipment and conducts quality checks of completed work.
• Outside Machinists work on Disneyland Resort attractions and ride vehicles, performing functional checks, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and alterations as needed.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
• 2+ years of experience directly related as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial production facility

• Shifts are typically at night, and availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and days off vary by need.

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and basic tools required of a machinist
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with alignment of pumps and shafts
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with the use of PCs
• Ability to use fall protection equipment (e.g., fall protection, boatswain’s chair, power scaffold, positioning equipment)
• Experience using standard shop equipment such as a drill press, hydraulic press, grinders, sanders, and band saws
• Experience with hoists, lifting and jacking devices, powered carts (Mules), man lifts, and lift trucks
• Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and structures, and for those at Disney California Adventure, work at heights up to 200 feet
