Commercial Refrigeration Technician / HVAC Service Technician

Location: Anaheim, CA (Orange County and Los Angeles County Service Areas)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary

Pro Refrigeration Inc. is hiring experienced Commercial Refrigeration / HVAC Service Technicians to service restaurants and commercial facilities throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County.

We are looking for dependable technicians with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills who can independently identify equipment problems, perform repairs, and complete service calls.

This is a field service position involving commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.

Equipment Serviced

• Walk-in coolers and freezers
• Reach-in refrigerators and freezers
• Commercial ice machines
• Restaurant refrigeration equipment and prep tables
• Commercial rooftop air conditioning units (RTUs)
• Commercial split systems
• Exhaust and ventilation systems

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related system failures.
• Troubleshoot compressors, motors, controls, contractors, expansion valves, and other components.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, leak testing, evacuation, and charging.
• Complete assigned service calls independently and efficiently.
• Accurately document repairs, labor hours, materials used, and service recommendations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on commercial refrigeration or commercial HVAC service experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience servicing commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and diagnose system failures.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Commercial refrigeration experience is strongly preferred.
