Job SummaryThe Employment Specialist (ES) works 1-on-1 with clients to provide employment and case management services, helping clients become ready for a job, find a job, and keep a job.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide client support, guidance and case management: oversee day‑to‑day case management, encourage and motivate clients, orient, assess, and provide employment counseling.
- Conduct job readiness activities: resume building, practice interviews, job applications, computer tutorials, cover letters, reference lists, and job search guidance.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of referral resources and maintain accurate client/program data in Salesforce.
- Monitor client progress and program outcomes: document services, outcomes, next steps, analyze and report monthly data.
- Represent Chrysalis to stakeholders by providing site tours and presenting services when needed.
- Foster strong client, colleague, and partner relationships: participate in meetings, share best practices, provide training ideas, celebrate achievements, and brainstorm solutions.
- Adhere to all Chrysalis policies, support Mission and Code of Ethics, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all Chrysalis policies and procedures.
- Support the Chrysalis Mission and adhere to the Chrysalis Code of Ethics.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and remain flexible in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter with a "can‑do" attitude and initiative.
- Maintains confidential information and exercises discretion.
- Computer literacy: proficient in Internet research, MS Office, and willingness to learn other applications.
- Willingness to travel to meetings (mileage reimbursed).
Employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
