Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant Role
Join AMTS as a Junior Accountant in Ancaster, ON, and advance your accounting career with hands-on experience in a diverse environment. Focus on AP/GL processes, payroll, and year-end tax support.

This full-time, permanent role requires active participation in the accounting functions across HVAC distribution and real estate. You will process A/P invoices, manage bank reconciliations, and prepare tax filings while contributing to significant financial operations. Your expertise will directly impact various business lines within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process A/P invoices and ensure timely payments

• Monitor and reconcile 13+ bank accounts daily

• Manage tenant rents and record loans throughout the month

• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns

• Conduct month-end inventory valuations and reconciliations

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance

• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience

• Familiarity with software like Account Edge or Prophet 21

• Strong attention to detail in high-volume transactions

• Experience with foreign currency transactions is a plus
