RECE​/DA Educator

Become a key part of children's development as a RECE/DA Before and After School Educator at Umbrella Family in Ancaster. This part-time role focuses on creating engaging programs and ensuring children's well-being.

Join Umbrella Family as you support children and families by implementing developmental programs tailored to individual needs. You’ll engage in meaningful play, provide healthy snacks, and supervise both indoor and outdoor activities. This role is designed for dedicated educators who are passionate about child care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet children and families warmly and professionally

• Support children during transitions from home to program

• Engage children with activities using programming materials

• Provide nutritious morning snacks and encourage hygiene

• Facilitate indoor and outdoor play and activities

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education Diploma and College membership

• Relevant childcare experience and program planning skills

• Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen?

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Active registration with the College of ECE
