Job Overview
The Division of Forestry & Fire Protection is recruiting an Accounting Technician 3 in Anchorage. This position is open to Alaska residents only.
Responsibilities- Program accounting and analysis
- Reconciliation and corrective actions
- Interagency accounting support
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and the full accounting cycle.
- Analysis using information technology to maintain and disseminate data.
- Computer skills to use databases and automated systems.
- Two years of technical level accounting or bookkeeping experience, with at least one year at full proficiency.
- Certification as an Accounting Technician or relevant post‑secondary education may substitute for required experience.
The DOF administrative team offers a collaborative, supportive, and mission‑focused environment. The position is located in the Robert
B. Atwood Building with easy access to parking and nearby amenities.
