What will you be doing?
The incumbent will carry out thorough ongoing data analysis and provide clerical support for the Alaska Therapeutic Court programs. This position is responsible for reviewing, collating, and analyzing therapeutic court data to produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for internal use and for stakeholders or funders. Duties include performing quality assurance on data entered into AKAIMS, tracking statewide therapeutic court retention and disposition trends, analyzing electronic monitoring data, and reporting on participant exit and satisfaction surveys.
The role also supports the Administrative Program Manager by assisting with data compilation for quarterly Medicaid reports and by researching and quantifying court data for inclusion in clear, informative reports. In addition, the position provides clerical and administrative support to Therapeutic Court staff, including preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, participating in cross-training, and covering administrative functions as needed, along with performing other assigned duties.
Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
An ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to perform work and carry out assigned projects independently.
- Considerable knowledge of database use and/or spreadsheet software.
- Working knowledge of methods of analyzing and presenting numeric data.
- Ability to gather, organize, and evaluate numeric data using computers.
- Ability to reason logically and accurately and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret and apply written rules and procedures.
- Ability to instruct others in data collection and data entry procedures.
- Ability to provide clerical assistance/support.
Minimum qualifications:
Two years of postsecondary or vocational experience and two years of professional or administrative experience in performing complex data entry, or four years of professional or administrative experience in performing complex data entry.

- Post-secondary transcripts, if using education to meet minimum qualifications.
- List of at least three (3) professional references, with current contact information.
- Last two performance evaluations and/or letters of recommendation.
