Position OverviewOffice Assistant III
LocationAnchorage, Alaska – Office located off Tudor and C Street, walkable to midtown amenities.
Job SummaryLead Office Assistant supporting the Anchorage management team with full range of administrative support, calendar management, scheduling of meetings, event coordination, note‑taking, office organization, and inventory management. Provides assistance with large employee meetings, new employee orientation, and other management tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee multiple Outlook calendars and schedules for the management team.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for large employee meetings and events.
- Take notes and prepare minutes for management and leadership meetings.
- Develop and coordinate new employee orientation.
- Organize office supplies, inventory, and maintain office organization.
- Provide additional administrative support as needed.
- Organized Workplace – accurately plan, record, and keep track of tasks and projects.
- Written Communication – clear, concise, organized writing.
- People Orientation – handle multiple interruptions and maintain friendly interface.
- Self‑Management – prioritize and complete tasks within allotted time.
- Teamwork – encourage cooperation, trust, and group identity; work with others to achieve goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clerical experience (e.g., greeting clients, answering phones, typing, filing, sorting mail, data entry, receiving payments).
- Education from an accredited college may substitute for the required experience (3 semester hours or 4 quarter hours equivalent to one month of experience; 150 hours of vocational education equal one month of experience).
- Driver’s license and minimum age 18 for positions requiring motor vehicle use.
- Typing skill may be required for some positions.
