As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining an efficient, organized, and welcoming environment within the Dean’s Office at the University of Alaska Anchorage’s College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP).
As the primary front desk contact, you’ll help create a positive first impression for students, faculty, staff, and visitors by answering questions, connecting people with the resources they need, and providing friendly, professional customer service.
In this vital role, you’ll provide administrative support to college leadership, coordinate meetings and event logistics, manage documents and office resources, and assist with the day-to-day operations of Rasmuson Hall. Experience providing excellent customer service and managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous. Proficiency in office software, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities are essential for success.
Because this position serves as the primary front desk contact, reliability and punctuality are also important to ensuring consistent office coverage and dependable service to our college community. If you enjoy being a go-to resource for others and take pride in helping a team stay organized and run smoothly, we invite you to become an essential part of our academic community!
