Used Car/Recon Technician – Lithia & Driveway

BMW of Anchorage, part of Lithia & Driveway, is looking for a detail‑oriented technician to recondition pre‑owned vehicles to the highest standards before sale.

Pay: $25–$32 per hour (DOE), competitive flat‑rate pay.

Schedule:

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic issues on pre‑owned vehicles.
• Complete maintenance services including brakes, suspension, steering, engine repairs, and drivability concerns.
• Ensure vehicles are road‑ready, safe, and meet quality expectations prior to sale.
• Accurately document inspections, repairs, and reconditioning work.
• Work efficiently to meet recon timelines while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors, sales, and management to ensure smooth vehicle flow.

• Experience as an automotive technician.
• Passion for automotive work and willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to high‑quality work and customer service.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.
