Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as an Employee Benefits Account Manager – Mid‑market. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the client relationships and account life cycle for our mid‑market group clients with 50‑99 lives. You will serve as the main point of contact and work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities Behavioral Competencies

  • Have a strong aptitude for multiple systems, both internally and externally (client‑facing), with the ability to discuss and demo external products and systems.
  • Work with a high level of attention to detail in time‑compressed situations.
Practical Competencies
  • Own the client relationship and account life cycle from post‑sale and serve as the main point of contact.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date account records, including client interactions, transactions, and any changes to policies or coverage.
  • Monitor carrier/Ben Admin discrepancy reports.
  • Complete new client onboarding and vendor installation work streams.
  • Interpret eligibility structures, plan specifications, and contribution logic.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Coordinate and run in‑person and virtual OE Meetings.
  • Craft Open Enrollment presentations and create pre‑recorded videos as needed.
  • Review all communication materials, system builds, and benefits website.
  • Lead or work in conjunction with the Producer/AE to onboard new clients.
  • Collect and maintain all relevant policy and plan documents.
  • Run benefits compliance activities, communicate updates, and send reminders to clients.
  • Engage in quarterly/mid‑year review and check‑in meetings.
  • Design and execute communication strategy for client events including OE, wellbeing, corrective process, and a system launch.
Technical Competencies
  • Ensure the timely update of client policy, client service agreement, commission, and chargeback data in Epic/monday.
  • Respond to inquiries posted in Epic Activities initiated by EB, Accounting, Platform Services, and Enterprise Application Teams.
  • Service clients using Microsoft 365 products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Teams, and One Note.
  • Fulfill client activities using a variety of software applications including vendor portals, client Ben Admin systems, and internal systems (e.g., Zywave, Mineral, etc.).
  • Navigate Sharepoint, Acri World, Workday, and Service Portal to source and exchange information, and request internal support services.
  • Submit eligible reimbursement requests through Concur.
  • Create/facilitate client communication collateral using InDesign, marq, and Suvaun.
  • Work with internal Tech Team to install/renew groups.
  • Understand basic EDI/API data trade principles to help solve issues with internal/external partners.
  • Prepare vendor enrollment file by extracting demographic and eligibility data from client ben Admin system or alternate source.
