Construction Manager Responsibilities:
- Serving as the jobsite representative for the carrier.
- Assisting in identifying and qualifying subcontractors required for the project, including all site and building trades.
- Providing coordination and input with utility companies providing services and infrastructure, including schedule and cost management.
- Developing initial project-specific cost estimates and managing the budgetary components.
- Monitoring schedule performance and ensuring quality workmanship of contractors.
- Collaborating with contractors, architects, civil engineers, and consultants on site-specific value engineering options.
- Reviewing change proposals, RFIs, supplemental instructions, and other contract documents on behalf of the carrier.
- Reviewing and approving contractor payment requests.
- Attending meetings and conferences on behalf of the carrier, documenting and acting on items of interest.
- Maintaining relationships and acting as the liaison with federal, state, and municipal authorities, including permitting and inspections.
- Reviewing tenant leases and requirements to ensure compliance and cost control.
- Coordinating with tenant design and construction teams to ensure accurate development of tenant documents.
- Serving as an information resource by coordinating tenant work, resolving disputes, providing feedback, and managing project punch list and close-out.

Construction Manager Requirements:- Related bachelor's degree, preferably in Construction Management.
- Experience with Verizon & Dish preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in cell tower construction, capable of managing 15-20 active sites.
- Ability to track 50-100 sites in various statuses such as DVW/DRM, utility design, 100% CD review, bid, cost, build, and integration phases.
- 5-7 years of field experience building cell sites for all carriers, including rooftops, raw land, vaults, DSA, OSHPD.
- Strong consultative, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing sites and maintaining good client and supplier relationships.
- Hands-on experience directing contractors and crews in mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural construction.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and maps.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Project.
