The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Physician is responsible for providing direct clinical customer care and collaborates with other clinical staff to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens.

SCF programs primarily serve Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and other Alaska Native and American Indian populations within SCF’s geographical service area. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of these cultures and needs, which is essential to achieving SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and its mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services.

• Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.
• Meet all requirements for associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required depending on the specialty and scope of practice.
