We are seeking a Project Engineer
.

• Provide engineering support in the following areas:
• Engineering design for mine waste and water engineering projects
• Preparation and review of construction cost estimates
• Preparation and review of reclamation cost estimates
• Assist with project management of technical deliverables, scheduling and budgets
• Assist with preparation of permitting applications
• Perform field work, such as geotechnical investigations, engineering oversight during construction and manage QA/QC activities on mine-related earthworks
• Work collaboratively with other technical specialists
• Develop and maintain client relationships

• An undergraduate degree in civil, geotechnical/geological or mining engineering
• A minimum of 5 years experience, preferably in the mining industry
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills, including writing skills
• Working knowledge Word, and Excel
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software, AutoCAD, GIS, slope stability and/or hydrologic analyses and software programs

Note:

Desirable experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and related analyses is preferred but not required.
