This job opportunity is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office.

Role Overview

As an Electrical Design Technician
, you will support our data center design team, working with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers and Architects to design and draft drawings for various facility design projects. You will apply diversified knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and update templates and project set‑up in Revit.

• Manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules.

• Work with central and local files, ensuring accurate collaboration.

Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
  • BS Degree reduces this requirement by 1–2 years.
  • Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
  • Familiar with working with central files and local files.
  • Ability to manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Ideal) Qualifications
  • Strong skills with Revit 2017 & 2018, BIM
    360, Autodesk, BIM 360 GLUE, and Navisworks.
  • U.S. Citizen.
