Tolling Market LeadAs the Tolling Market Lead, you will partner with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies globally. You will champion the identification and development of projects and programs for toll facility clients across HDR’s 36 operating areas and expand HDR’s suite of toll industry services.
Core Services- AET conversions for existing facilities
- Planning and Design services for systems including technology, payment methods, and advisory services
- Mobility and operational technology services (ATST, ITS, CAV, tolling system development and operations, managed lanes, ZEM, OT cybersecurity)
- Advisory services including asset management, ROW, value engineering, funding and finance
- Research and share knowledge of trends and drivers within the tolling market
- Support areas in the identification, pursuit and delivery of tolling opportunities where HDR can compete and deliver professional services
- Develop client relationships with toll clients alongside local area teams and market sector teams
- Help evaluate and prioritize investments to capture tolling client opportunities across regions
- Lead HDR’s strategy for presence and leadership in industry organizations such as IBTTA
- Partner with HDR leaders across the business group to broaden the range of tolling services offered and provide professional development for staff
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Recognized leader in the Toll Roads/Toll Facilities space
- Proven ability to set strategy and execute growth of a tolling practice
- Established relationships with major toll clients/DOTs
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, planning or related field
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience
- Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for architecture, engineering and/or planning services
- Experience with client relationship management and program/pursuit development
- Experience in staff development and recruiting
- Involvement in industry associations with a visible market profile
- Ability to work cooperatively with area and regional directors and managers
- Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and active employee‑owned culture participation
