We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary engineering and surveying firm with multiple office locations in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. The firm works with federal, state, municipal, tribal, and private clients, delivering high-quality planning, design, and construction support services.

• Design and develop electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports for power, lighting, and instrumentation/controls systems
• Conduct condition assessments and inspections of electrical systems and equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams
• Mentor junior engineers and delegate electrical tasks
• Support field work and provide construction phase services as needed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain Alaska PE license within 6 months
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with REVIT and AutoCAD; familiarity with ETAP or similar power simulation software is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environments

• Power, lighting, runway lighting, power generation, telecommunications, instrumentation and controls, SCADA, arctic engineering, hazardous locations, field inspections, and fee estimating
• Familiarity with CSI specifications; UFGS specifications experience is a plus
