Any location in the United States. Preference for candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office.

$95,200.00 – $ per year.

• Lead the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup.
• Coordinate work activities with other staff and the discipline lead.
• Design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes.
• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with instrumentation and control.
• Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other control applications.

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Forward‑thinking and eager to learn best practices.
• Rapid learning and drive to broaden knowledge base.
• Collaboration in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
• Experience mentoring junior professionals or leading small teams.
• Experience with data‑center design.
