The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Financial Analyst provides technical expertise on the electronic health record system and consults with department and division leadership.
Responsibilities include:
supporting the Southcentral Foundation Revenue Cycle Department’s processes and systems; developing and redesigning systems and processes to improve overall effectiveness; facilitating revenue cycle system upgrades based on system changes or industry benchmarks; conducting meetings and technical training; and supporting all revenue cycle system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including reporting and analysis to meet ongoing needs.
This position has two levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between levels is based on demonstrated ability to handle increasingly responsible assignments.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and five (5) years of Revenue Cycle or Patient Accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two (2) years of experience at the Financial Analyst I level; or demonstrated proficiency as a Financial Analyst I at Southcentral Foundation.
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
