VP;
Financial Consultant - Anchorage, AK role at Charles Schwab. This position involves providing wealth management and financial planning advice to Schwab clients, growing your practice through client relationships, asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. You will work within a supportive, collaborative culture to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Required Qualifications

• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
• Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during your tenure on the job

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to build strong relationships, engage and earn client trust, and deepen client relationships by applying a focused client communication strategy
• Ability to leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, market knowledge, and the ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward goals
• Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
• Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
• Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and long-term strategies for clients
• Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience and to pursue professional development in Wealth Management

• Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry and complete the required background check
• This role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities in addition to the salary range
