The position of Supervisory Health System Specialist is located in the Branch of Purchased/Referred Care Services Division, Office of Administrative Support Programs.

Health System Specialist Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates; advises or counsels employees on work and administrative matters Serves as principal advisor on the PRC Services Program on policy development, interpretation, and implementation to Area and Service Unit staff and professional staff in the private health care sector Serve as lead negotiator on contracts with vendors.
Respond to inquiries and requests which are highly complex, extensive or congressional sensitive regarding purchased and referred care services; conduct fund expenditure analysis to ensure equitable distribution and management of purchased and referred care funds allocation.
Requirements & EducationThis position has an education requirement. You are strongly encouraged to submit a copy of your transcripts or a list of your courses including titles, credit hours completed, and grades.
