We are seeking a Maternal Mortality Epidemiologist II to support our federal client. The position is fully remote and requires U.S. residency.

• Contribute to maternal mortality data analyses to improve the use of surveillance and program data that advances analytic approaches to understanding characteristics of and prevention opportunities for addressing pregnancy‑related deaths.
• Draft dissemination products (e.g., manuscripts, reports, presentations) based on data analyses.
• Participate in project‑related meetings and calls.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• At least 2 years of related professional experience, with direct experience in data analysis.
• Highly detail‑oriented, works well within a diverse team, and demonstrates initiative and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in data management and analysis using SAS or R.
• Ability to prioritize activities when under tight deadlines.
• Ability to pass required federal background screening and obtain/maintain government clearance.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Master’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related discipline.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May need to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
