Pharmacy Technician - Providence Credena Pharmacy Anchorage

Performs all typical duties of a retail. mail order, specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Alaska Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele. Has advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

(Advanced skills include specific certifications such as immunization administration, MTM).

We are hiring for Pharmacy Technician position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Required Qualifications:

• Alaska Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
• 1 yearof experience (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice
• 1 yearof Customer Service
• 1 year
  - For internal promotion candidate must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician: (external candidates are required to have the equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:
  Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
