Pharmacy Technician – Providence Credena Pharmacy Anchorage

Providence Alaska Medical Center, Anchorage, AK (Anchorage 3200 Providence Dr). Full‑time, 1.0 FTE, 8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Pay range $22.44 – $34.33 per hour (shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime and bonuses may apply).

Responsibilities
:

• Performs the typical duties of a retail, mail‑order, and specialty pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Alaska Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures.

• Fills physician orders for patient medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

• Communicates with and services the needs of pharmacy clientele.

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in one or more specialty areas in the pharmacy (e.g., immunization administration, MTM).

Required Qualifications
:

• Alaska Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
• 1 year (2080 hours) of pharmacy practice experience
• 1 year of customer service experience
• 1 year – for internal promotion candidates must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician (external candidates must have equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications
:

• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
