Patient Scheduler

Under supervision coordinates patient reception, scheduling and registration. Obtains and records all data relative to the registration process. Maintains knowledge of insurance and third-party payers, computer data-entry and forms and the Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN) process.

Answers all incoming calls using correct phone etiquette and displays exemplary customer service skills.

Full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8‑hour Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

• Experience with multi‑line telephone systems, personal computer, printers, copiers and fax machines.

• Medical terminology.
• 6 months clerical background involving public contact, preferably medical. Ancillary department (such as Radiology), clerical or Admitting Representative/Scheduling specialist experience.

Pay range: $20.19 – $30.26. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
