Position: Project Coordinator (Lead-Rural Health Transformation Program-PCN 16T027)

This position is currently located in Juneau. The position may be in Anchorage or Juneau, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.

What you will be doing
  • Lead day-to-day RHTP operations and guide implementation across the Department of Health, other state agencies, and community partners.
  • Serve as a primary representative of the program in public forums and partner meetings, including with Tribal Health Organizations, providers, communities, and statewide associations.
  • Supervise and mentor three Project Coordinators supporting initiative implementation and statewide activities.
  • Coordinate directly with federal partners, serving as the Project Director responsible for ensuring Alaska meets cooperative agreement requirements, reporting expectations, audit standards, and key milestones.
  • Oversee evaluation and reporting activities to track program outcomes and support continuous improvement.
  • Manage major contractors, including the statewide subrecipient administrator, and evaluation, reporting, and technical assistance partners.
  • Provide leadership and problem‑solving support to ensure funded projects advance program goals and improve access and outcomes for rural Alaskans.
