This position is currently located in Juneau. The position may be in Anchorage or Juneau, depending upon the location of the most qualified candidate.
What You Will Be Doing:As a Project Coordinator for the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), you will be a part of the core team implementing one of the largest rural health initiatives in Alaska’s history. The RHTP is a five-year federal cooperative agreement investing hundreds of millions of dollars annually to strengthen rural health care, expand access, support innovation, and build more sustainable health systems across Alaska.
The program will fund state-led efforts and community-based projects through subrecipient awards to Alaska organizations.
Under the supervision of the Senior Project Coordinator, you will support day-to-day implementation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across multiple initiatives. In this role, you will:
- Drive implementation of one or more RHTP initiatives in partnership with communities, Tribal Health Organizations, providers, and state agency teams
- Coordinate ongoing program operations, including work plans, timelines, documentation, and tracking progress toward key milestones.
- Support engagement activities such as meetings, listening sessions, and presentations with community and statewide partners
- Assist with federal compliance and reporting, including reviewing guidance and supporting required submissions to federal partners.
- Collaborate with the statewide subrecipient administrator and other contractors to support application, review, and monitoring processes.
- Provide policy, operational, and analytical support, including reviewing proposals, supporting funding recommendations, and tracking outcomes.
