Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with acute care experience for an inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring weekend rotation.

• Active OT license required, if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
• Acute care experience required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Alaska state fingerprint and background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to starting

• Inpatient acute care hospital rehabilitation unit
• Work alongside a therapy team of 60 providers including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
• Daily patient ratio of 8-10 patients
• Epic EMR used
• 4 day, 10 hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends
• Weekend rotation required, approximately 2-3 weekends per month
• No on-call requirements
• Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient acute care rehabilitation setting
• Best suited for independent, self-motivated professionals
• Olive green scrubs required for dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
