About the Facility This correctional facility provides outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients within a secure government clinical environment. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery and maintains on-site support staff - including an NP, nursing staff, and nurse supervisors - to ensure clinicians do not work alone at any time. Credentialing for this position is estimated at approximately one week.
About the Facility Location This region offers access to a range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including wildlife viewing, glacier exploration, and scenic natural areas. Clinicians on assignment will find year-round activities and cultural attractions within the surrounding area, making time away from the facility engaging and varied.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, working four 10-hour day shifts per week. The expected caseload is 8-12 patients per day, with additional responsibilities including the review of outside medical records and laboratory results. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Required credentials include an active state license, DEA registration, a clear background check, and prescriptive authority;
board certification is negotiable, with credentialing estimated at approximately one week.
